reSITE is “dedicated to understanding the intersection of design, policy, culture and economy in a continually urbanizing world," and we always like to stand at such a crossroads. The most visible output of reSITE is the annual Prague conference, which this year has a Calvino-esque subtitle In/visible City. Different, more or less hidden, urban infrastructures thus represent different, technically varied layers of the visual. The 3D heart of urban hardware by Zdeněk Trinkewitz lays on the austere and yet strange typeface Documan by our Martin Vácha and overgrows by Michael Bačák's raging hand drawn vegetation. Advertisements have sprung up in the city since January, and with the upcoming spring the flora gradually thickens and thickens, until the June conference when the heart truly begins to beat.
